Maybe it's just something getting lost in translation, but I'm not sure
I'd call people working through prolonged trauma as 'wallowing in self pity'. Not to mention, the FL mentioned earlier that if it weren't for the Monarch's Sight to show her the outside world and her past life she probably would have turned out as mad as the rumors say she is. I know the aide was expressing his admiration for the FL, but the wording makes him come off as somewhat dismissive of long term abuse and it's effect on people

I'm still pretty confused regarding the "past life". This may be more clear in the web novel, but she has only mentioned it a couple times off-handedly in the manhwa. Is she a reincarnation, or an isekai or time regressor? They never make it clear, and it hasn't really affected the story at all.
