This chapter reminded a lot of Kouya ni Kemono Doukokusu, even though it came after Fortified School. Dude turned into a half-beast by some top secret governmental project trying to exploit genetics for military purposes, wavering between his human side and the beast's to the point he forgot his name... it would fit like a glove in Kouya ni Kemono.
