Endocannibalism.:chad:
ive heard this practice on remote papuan tribe and ancient south america

i suggest dont, eating human brain would cause some sickness. kuru disease is deadly.

if you were [presistent i suggest cannibalism on vegan is kinda better. people who eat everything have higher concentration of chemical like Iron and other, affecting their taste

'Embalming', not 'balming'.

It has been my experience in the US that most bodies receive some form of chemical preservation to allow presentation of the body at funeral services after the death - it's not uncommon for as much as a week to pass between death and the funeral and burial. My understanding is it's a legal requirement for transport of a cadaver into some states here, so if a situation like my mother's arises (where the individual died in one state and is to be buried in another), it may be necessary.

As for the topic, there has been a bit of a bump of vocal departures recently, but I suspect the perception is being skewed a bit by the announcements - I would guess you could work back through the forums, looking at volume of posts by month and last activity, and find a similar rate of departure since shortly after V5 was brought online.

this is such unique case tbh, most of the world when people died they would be buried on closest cemetery.

i also one more thing, why some corpse were stored on mausoleum? is it on request or any procedure?
Yeah, for a very long time, it was a matter of finding the nearest cemetery and burying there, but that seems to have changed in the 19th Century (in part due to the larger scale of warfare, and the desire of the families of KIA soldiers to bring them home to be buried in a family plot). If you're burying someone within a day of death like a lot of cultures do/did, there's no need to preserve the body.

Mausoleums (mausolea? thanks Latin plurals) seem to be more of a 'look at me, I'm wealthy and important' kind of thing.

The changes to the site's layout and UI caused a wave of dissatisfaction when V5 came out, While a noticeable number of users have become inactive and left, particularly in the forum but the majority of the community still remains on the site. Their presence may not be as visible in forum discussions, but activity in other sections shows they haven’t entirely left.

As for those who have taken a step back, they haven’t deleted their accounts or anything . Most of these departures seem to stem from mental stress or dissatisfaction, and they could very well return when circumstances improve. For example, David is still engaging through the comment sections, which suggests he hasn’t left entirely but rather shifted his focus away from the general forum. It would be more accurate to say that all of them have paused or scaled back their participation rather than left altogether. Keep the room for the possibility of their return at any time. It's never a goodbye on internet, tbh.

were V4 that great people choose not to touch forum anymore? hows the UI look?
There was no V4, lol. Devs decided to skip it, also I don't think there is any V3 copycat site left so I can't show you any actual UI outlook but you can check out the tutorial manga, it's just screenshots and explanations using pictures but it will give an idea how it used to be.
