Dohyun is pissing me off. Lol his feelings to her equate to him thinking she’s a good person??? That was the weakest admittance of feelings I’ve ever seen! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Dohyun type characters are really boring tbh. I always find them so lacking in personality and charm. Not that he’s a bad guy but just kind of boring when he takes up so much screen time. I mean I feel like most of Irae’s interactions are with him and not Kang.

I mean we’re all pretty sure she’ll end up with Kang but right now it would be more natural for her to end up with Dohyun based on the type of interactions she’s had.

Okay I get it’s a story and they have to be fun and exciting....

but liking someone because they are a kind and good person is a genuine reason to grow feelings for someone. Feelings grow to be more complex but they all start from somewhere. Some people start to like people because they are good looking and others because of personality. Like what? Are some of these comments? LMAO

These two guys are keepers, but man who is better for Irae?
Thank you so much!

it's like Dohyun is the obviously better choice if you think about all the benefits of having someone older who can also push her to be a better person and help her.
But Kang is a loyal dog, can also give encouragement but not advice.

I guess they should just wrap Irae-noona in bubble wrap after this. She sounds so fragile...

Given Dohyun's flashback and his confession that he likes Irae because she is a kind and nice person, it actually reveals a bit about him. To me his confession is honest but also leans towards a more guarded and careful/safe mindset. Irae feels like a good and relatively safe option. Not that he's over confident and thinks she'll automatically like him, but more in the sense that they would likely fit well together and they get along pretty good. It's not passionate feelings, but that doesn't necessarily make them less valid. Sometimes a person values a sense of security and companionship over being impassioned, especially with Dohyun having experienced heartbreak already. It also works as a contrast to Kang's method which is an energetic "give it all" approach but also clumsier and more childish.

Neither approach is necessarily better/worse, but it touches again on the age gap theme in contrasting an 18 year old to a 26 year old in approaching romance with the same girl. Each has their own insecurities but for different reasons.

Dohyun knows what he was doing with Irae, wanting to spend more time with her so she could develop feelings for him obviously them being seen together, would only pressure Irae to like him since they make a good couple. Dude knows what he is doing. Its a sly strategy to get someone to like you.

Dohyun or Kang.

If I were Irae, I'll have them both. 😂
