um did you forget this is at its core a horror manga. you don't exactly come to horror manga expecting happy endings. i mean do you go to junji ito for happy endings. he has some but they are rare. but you don't expect happy endings from junji ito. same principle applies here you don't come to franken fran expecting happy endings. it rarely has happy endings and even the happy endings often have caveats. if you are looking for happy couples why are you reading a horror manga
