For people wondering why they killed the angel. In the prequel series and I think earlier in this series as well, they state that they get their powers from bathing in blood. So I'd imagine they have the same thought process of tearing the angel up above themselves to get a nice blood shower.

I wonder if the angel will revive though, feels like it had such a big build up just to die in 2 chapters
