It's been a while since I read the beginning so I might be wrong, but essentially this school is training weaponized soldiers and their rank is their school year. Status is everything so even though both sides were in the wrong Satellizer being a 1st year automatically makes her in the wrong. She's supposed to take it.

The 2nd question is mostly the same, it's a military school so the cant touch the citizens as it affects the schools image. Dunno if manga tells u yet, but the girls/school can regenerate lost limbs and the girls are automatically tough so no regular person can kill them.

okay, but i don't see how them just being a higher rank would exempt them for any and all consequences, besides if they are supposed to be training these people into weapons would the most deadly or ruthless person be favored more?

I can understand this, but no one but the thugs knew that they were from the military school, it didn't show that they were worried about the schools reputation no one said anything about them having an image to protect in the civilians eyes, pardoras are the only ones that can fight these aliens that kill mankind indiscriminately, so why would anyone care if a couple of thugs got killed trying to rape some of them? And no the manga didn't tell us anything like that.

It's kinda hard to explain. In military if a recruit is acting like an asshole, he might get a "talk" with the squad. If the recruit has a few bruises the next day, well, "I wonder what happened?", and the head honcho will just let it go.
Multiply that by a 100, put it in a school setting, and that's what Pandora is.

Also when they were getting attacked by thugs, are they wearing their uniform? That might explain why everyone else knew what they were. If not I dunno.

I started reading this series years ago so I'm kinda invested to reading the end of this. But I can say this manga is kinda average. The author had like half a dozen other series while still writing this one.

I don't think the military really applies because if the head honcho has no qualms of the squad disciplining the new recruit on their own, he shouldn't have any if the recruit beats them up. But the flaw I'm talking about isn't the squad keeping the recruit in line by using force, I'm talking about how Satellizer seems to be the only one being punished for breaking the rules when almost everybody around break those same rules. This manga tries to be lighthearted by telling jokes at inappropriate times (when the freshman class president hits the MC over the head when he's sticking up for Satellizer saying "It's alright he's only joking!") but also tries to shove gore into our face (the killing of the freshman class by the S class Nova) in some half ass attempt to show some tragic world. All the while providing the readers no benefit from either viewpoint.

They weren't wearing their uniform the thugs only knew because she pulled out her weapon when they pulled out their guns.

I'm extra upset because this would've been such a cool premise if they didn't botch it so horribly.

There 's a reason I actively refuse to read anything by Im Dal-Young. Burned too many times by him. There was Unbalance X2 and Legend of Maian. Onihime VS was the only decent one, and it got axed way too early. Probably a good thing because he most likely would have found some way to screw it up.

Saw this on the front page, so I stared reading. Wow the plot is awful. The rule enforcement by the (military) school administration is ridiculously bad. It would be impossible to have a functioning fighting force with this kind of lopsided and even absent discipline. People get away with serious crimes, things that should lead to an dishonorable discharge and jail time. It's almost if the admins are deliberately creating mistrust, chaos, or even outright rebellion among the students. Complete nonsensical way of running what is essentially a military school.

haha i remember when this was one of the first series I tried outside of shounen many years ago. During the era of D. Gray Man and the like.

It fell off completely or rather I grew out of the ecchi centered genre(thank god for that). It would give me some nostalgia feels I suppose but I would never read this ever again lmao.
