Right off the bat that's quite the question, id say the level of intimacy, in trust, there's things you do with a friend you can't really with a romantic partner and vis versa, romantic partner there's an extra level of intimacy in where you confide in one another, while also true with a friend in both scenarios it's in different ways
I dunno why I'm explaining this I haven't much time, it's nearly 8 and I'm still get caught up on me Yuri, I'm sure the reader gets the point moving on
