I only realise now but... it's kinda wholesome how much Kenzaburo was getting interested into his daughter's hobby.
He could have absolutely ignore it or diss it, because he is old abd don't understand youngsters.
But no, he was curious and doing chit chat about it with his daughter !

He himself (and his wife) are also game/anime otaku. So it can be said that they had the same hobby albeit a different genre.
