@arghhhhhh Given the system of human supremacy, it probably would be sub human. Humans being the best, anything else would be less than, or below, human.

@cor3zone yeah seems fine for MCs dad and everyone else to call other races subhuman but seems out of place when MC refers to others as sub over demi.

@arghhhhhh Yeah, but he grew up in a society where they are called sub human. If everyone uses a specific word for something, you will probably end up using it yourself, without even thinking about it. Besides, he would probably have been labeled as a radical as soon as he started using demi over sub, meaning he could do even less good for them.

Anyways, I was just playing devil's advocate. I actually agree, demi would be far better. Even better would be to use the names of the specific races instead of lumping them together, or maybe 'subjects' when talking to his father.

This is very relatable. Imagine your a high-class American, whose servant is a Asian, best friend is a European, and your drinking buddy hails from the Middle-East. Plus, racism is prevalent in your family and country, but you know how dead-end it is and will never stand by it.

You kicked out because you rebelled against daddy's methods of running a business, then disowned. With no where to go, your friends tag along and help you start again, at a rundown town that's off the map.

Lost it at the spider saying 'hi'. Nothing groundbreaking in this so far, and the scion of a noble house that isn't corrupt seems weak to be a MC but whatever the art looks interesting. I've read and enjoyed far worse stories and starts in manga.

looking forward to the day this version of humanity gets wiped out, only MC and a hand full of other "odd ones" and outcasts will survive and probably within a few generations humans will be gone for good (assuming cross species kids don't come out pure human, which would be really odd considering how genetics works, but then again it is a world with magic so who knows...)

@AbuHajaar Hey, at least the Imperium has an excuse (Age of Strife) and even then they collaborate with aliens from time to time at arms' distance. These people is xenophobia for it's own sake and arrogance, not even the majority of Astartes would do that.
