i can’t believe this was completed in only 2 chapters, it’s amazing

Well the first chapter is pretty grim, here's hoping the second turns things around...

And... the second chapter is equally depressing, what are we meant to take away from that? legit, what is the message we are meant to learn? the ending text saying the protagonist is going to remain alone now... is that supposed to be happy, sad? they've processed the trauma with their mother a bit, but otherwise the ending seems a bit thematically muddled.

I think maybe it's a true story. It's first person, so maybe the story is about the author herself. Life isn't fair.

Maybe there is nothing to take from it. Often times is life we do things that end up seemingly pointless just because we are riding out on our feelings. I think this might just be one of those things.
