Still not sure who's uploading these. The MTL is obvious but could be worse. That being said, glad to see a couple new chaps after a while. It's always the quiet ones you gotta watch out for...

Hi! I'm the one uploading these. I appreciate your review and the comments you've been leaving on this series. It keeps it alive, and I enjoy reading them! Though I was a bit shocked about this one. I'm fully for keeping AI out of the proces of scanlation, hence why I hand redraw and typeset it all. To give some context about how I do the translation: I run it by two Japanese translators. One of which I commission to do the bulk, which I can't see the proces of. Could be MTL, but I've had good experiences with them so far. The other one which I hop into a call with to quality check, in which we go bubble-by-bubble to check the validity of the Japanese to English translation and aim to fix and improve any inconsistencies or mistakes we find.

But I'm always looking for improvement. What are points that made you think it's MTL? That way I can look out for it during our next quality-checking session.

Edit: I did just now fix some small mistakes that we've made, probably shouldn't QC so late at night haha

Hi! I'm the one uploading these.

Greetings, and thanks for your good work on this series. I apologize for jumping to the conclusion that it was a machine-translated affair. Your explanation made it clear that a significant amount of legitimate effort has gone into each chapter.

As for why I made that assumption in the first place, here's what threw me off. I gathered that due to there being no uploader group listed on the 'Dex combined with some of the QC issues that you've already fixed, as well the lack of any scanlator's preface/postscript notes or any marginalia in that regard to indicate who was doing the work, it had to be a no-name pump and dump thing. That's certainly not the case here. If you could add a page at the beginning or end of each chapter crediting yourself and your team, that helps with not only avoiding another potential mischaracterization of your efforts, but it can also be an avenue to build your scanlation resumé and request donations/funds for future work.

Just some food for thought. Keep it up, I'm enjoying the series.

Haha, the series itself also doesn't have the best flow of dialogue, so it's hard to shape the source material to something understandable and manage that in the time I want to set aside for scanlation. And no need to apologize, I hope I didn't come over as accusing in my reply. It was more out of curiousity on how I could improve. I was thinking about putting this up under a group name, but I didn't want to use my old scanlation group for this and having a scanlation group all by your lonesome doesn't sound so fun. Would you recommend me making a scanlation group that's just my name? That should maybe clear up some confusion.

And I do have a credit page, it's the last page of every chapter which credits the contributors and sometimes adds a little explanation or context around translation. Though maybe it blends a little too well... They look a little something like this:

I'll be a monkey's uncle, you're right! And it's a damn good one, too. Not sure how I missed it, but once again, sorry about my mistake. You did everything you were supposed to do. Maybe I didn't have enough coffee that day... Or too much. As for setting up a group name, it's up to you if you'd like to do it, but I do recommend it. You have a couple other folks who contribute a little here and there, and in the future, you may want to expand your operation. Plus, it's nice to have a brand with a cool name before it gets taken. You don't wanna get stuck with "Oingoboingo Scans" or something like that (actually, I might be taking that one...).
