Don't worry about that, outside of showing off Jihl a little early there isn't anything to worry about spoiler wise until volume 6 which is when the manga actually reaches game 2.

The manga reached volume 5 by the time game 2 released so it's actually the first appearance for a variety of characters which are only present in game 2.
