Yan Chu told Shaoying not to think too much of the kiss and it created an awkward air between them.

This is the first time they’ve seen each other since the funeral. So when Yan Chu feels like they are growing distant and asks Shaoying if they can go back to being close again, Shaoying is saying she wasn’t the one who caused them to grow apart and it’s up to Yan Chu whether they can be together or not.

This stems from chapter 24 if anyone wants to reread it as a refresher.

So when Yan Chu feels like they are growing distant and asks Shaoying if they can go back to being close again, Shaoying is saying she wasn’t the one who caused them to grow apart and it’s up to Yan Chu whether they can be together or not.

What, so just because Shaoying didn't read her mood makes it OK for Yan Chu to be rude to her? What happened, happened. So at this point she knows 100% Shaoying is sexually attracted to her, but didn't take the step forward at that time because she hadn't gotten any signals that Yan Chu was into it. So she went to sleep.

Yan Chu is just laying there in bed like "oh I'm so frustrated that she didn't keep going", but she doesn't have the spine to vaildate Shaoyings feelings and say "yes, keep going", and now she's mad afterwards?

I've been noped out of sex before and been mildly irritated because of it, but I'd never carry an actual grudge because of it. Especially in this situation where they're not actually a couple, Yan Chu hasn't even directly expressed that she wanted it in the first place, so not only is she leaving Shaoying in a terrible spot emotionally, but she's also abusing her feelings

She's not really upset about the sex part. It's more so about the conversation during the car ride where Yan Chu told her to forget about everything. Yan Chu had a reason for this, she's a crime boss and doesn't want Shaoying to be in danger, but she doesn't communicate that. In the past few chapters Yan Chu keeps pushing Shaoying away and then trying to get close to her again.

So Shaoying's comment here about telling her to ask herself if they can be close, she's really telling Yan Chu to figure out what she really wants, which is valid. Shaoying isn't angry and wasn't trying to be rude, she just wants a clear answer
