Maybe this is her own way of nerfing her help's effect to Reito's power level. Reito isnt the chosen one, nor is he doing a favor by reincarnating here so she has no reason to help him this much. I dont think she's malicious, but if your new landlady gives you top tier customer support like this, you'd be suspicious too.
