Its probably either
1) they just got back and the process hasn't started yet
2) the author wanted the scene of him saving them but didn't know how to write the transition properly or
3) the knight order are just filled with brain dead muscle brain people who doesn't know the meaning of triage or healing

Or the author/mangaka has no concept how military structures work and just wrote the scene to fit their needs.

Honestly the scene makes no sense what so ever. Not only are they just standing around, but they would have had to have moved everyone from the site of the attack to their current location.

Not only have they passed many people, including guards, to get to their current location, but also turned a random street into a makeshift infirmary and then jist left their commanding officer and princess just leaning against a building...

So yeah it's not really the characters fault the one writing/drawing the scene is an ignorant cretin with no clue how to research a scene, nor the intelligence to figure it out a logical response themselves.
