Oh man I'm starting to really hate Fujiwara. This is really bullshit. Just because he couldn't sort his feelings when she confessed, he turned her down instead of asking for some time, and started alienating her, and when she moves on and he suddenly realises what he feels, he wants her now?! And now he's gonna be Mr Steal Yo Girl?! LIKE BIIIITCH?!?!?!
I won't accept it until Shirotaki and Hitsuji have a clean breakup, and she genuinely wants to get with Fujiwara while he waits.
Then again I have no expectations of shoujo mangas so she would probably dump Shirotaki for Fujiwara and be like.. "I'm sorry!!! I liked him this entire time!!! I used you!!! I'm sOoRRy!!" and i will hate this manga for the rest of my life.

sorry i really got fired up but MAN these shoujos are so repetitive with weak MCs so it really irks me.. sometimes i wonder why i still read shoujos...

@ilaya i have similar sentiments. But also, idk if you’re the same, but i read shoujos bc sometimes i find gems with unexpectedly admirable heroines, great comedy, &/or beautiful art. They’re rare, but totally worth it.
In the meantime, i go diggin thru the same ol’ cliche trash & get sucked into stories i already know will end a specific tropey way. 😫😔

@ohkimch I FEEEEEEEEEEEEEL YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU OMG. Samee. I've read some with incredible characters that I've liked!!! And I've read some terrible old-school shoujos and sat through them instead of dropping it because it's become sort of a habit to sit through them even if I hate it...
It's like hurting yourself over and over to find The One

@ilaya right????? Also...i hate to admit it but i am a sucker for a select number of Old Clichés (when they’re done “right”) but those same clichés usually come in a package...with other clichés that i hate.... so i tolerate the crap tropes for the ones i love 😔 i’m masochistic like that 💀

I hope we ea find another good one sometime soon 😭😭🤞🏼
