probably cause its... japan, although lgbtq concept is widely known and accept, theres still a big part that doest know or just dont have any info about it. japan is very conservative after all
I'm aware of that, but I'm also aware that translators sometimes take liberties with their own ideology, so I'm very wary of whether it's: intended because the original author is like that, it's intended as a social statement, it's unintended and the translator made an error, or it's unintended and the translator is injecting their own beliefs into the translation.

could be any of these, im not sure but its probably best to stick to what the author originally meant to say so we will be able to keep track if its get better or worse
