Feels like an axe-kun ending. Also, that confession was kinda muddled, like I was sort of caught by surprise when he was like "let's make it official", like they already mutually understood it at that point. I mean, considering the whole concept is that they thought the other one didn't like them that way, it was like, what was it that convinced you this time? It felt like it needed to be more explicit.

This ending was decidedly rushed, but even still this chapter has one of the best page turns I've seen in any manga. The transition from her walking alongside his right hand, to walking alongside his left hand with a ring on it - whilst wearing an adorable wedding dress - got me right in the feels. It's a shame that such a solid series only lasted 3 volumes. I can unfortunately imagine JP readers not being particularly receptive to a manga that condemns discrimination and celebrates interracial marriage, though.

I definitely have complaints about it, but even for a series that was obviously axed, I think this is at least a strong 7.5/10.
