Happen? Nah. Always considering it now being made aware of it? Yeah. Though not so much an impulse as it is being more intentional with purchases.

I have a pretty concise idea of what style I want to go for. Every time I think about making a purchase I'm already considering how I could fit it to other pieces I own. So I guess instead of having an impulse, I curbed it into a habit instead and always consider purchases from a "working with what I have" stand point.

If there ever was a point where I was impulsive about fashion I think it was probably when I was much younger, early to mid teens, everyone had a high cut sneaker so I wanted one and got one pair, neglected them after wearing them once and never tried again.

it's easy to get tempted to buy a lot of stuff when you're starting any new hobby. but now i've learn not to get the FOMO virus ✌🏼

i would hope soba wouldn't be too messy/most salarymen probably wouldn't be too clumsy about food esp in public but it would be nice to have some kinda cloth covering over your lap just in case, if not some kinda 'bib' even if some ppl would feel silly about using it in public

i mean 5 sounds reasonable if you wear them throughout the week, as opposed to like, 20 or so but depending, i can understand if it's not too pricey and comfortable enough , for ppl to basically have the 'same' outfit each time

Makes me wonder, in JP uniformed schools, do you just wash your uniform each day or can you just wear a regular shirt underneath but just having a spare jacket/blazer or skirt or so, b/c it def feels like, even if you change for gym and such, wearing the same outfit each day for school, you'd need have like 2-3 of the uniform or so to 'rotate out' or so versus doing your best to keep it clean (tho i know there's a change of sleeves? when they talk about summer versus winter uniform [i'd hope some jp schools are better funded than american ones but i wouldn't be surprised besides a 'school store' that sold snacks near the cafeteria, there'd be ones where you could get a spare uniform if needed or so lol])
