I think it's moreso adapting to needing masks more regularly. If I'm remembering correctly, this volume released originally in 2021. AKA when the pandemic was still majorly effecting life.

As a child i always wore at least one acessory, usually two. As an adult i don't wear any, two years ago i wore an anklet but it physically bothered me. Regardless, the fight isn't lost yet, i will wear acessories again.
On that note, finding good and affordable acessories is hard for some styles, they are either of poor quality or have huge markups.

i don't like wearing accessories unless they have some sort of funcionality. so glasses and wrist watch are my go to, and occasionally a headwear like hat or beanie

I had a habit of keeping a necklace on In the shower bc too much of a pain to take off each time and of course as a kid parents wouldn’t have given me like stainless steel or something from a jewelry shop so it’d end up getting rusty lol
