The one thing i can always this Manga besides the creativity of the Karma wrongdoers get, is how well he treated those that hasn't done anything to him. He provide the Paradise for the people who does little to no wrong (Rip to that though), and he gave the Angels far better work benefit than the so called previous God
The problem with that is it sets these angels up to become the next set of victims.
To be honest, Raoul isn't innocent in it. Whether he realizes it or not, he sometimes seemingly and inadvertently sets up scenarios where he has a reason to get revenge.
Take that paradise thing for instance. Yes, it's true that if he had left them as they were, they likely all would have been killed or worse. But they ended up dying anyway. Did he really not see the potential that someone would come after his creation? At best, the way he focuses energies on revenge rather than protecting what is his is at fault, and he doesn't feel the negative feedback from these events in a way that causes people to think "I gotta be more careful next time", because it's immediately assuaged by his plans for revenge. There's plenty of examples of this, like what's happening to Theodora.
I expect nothing else from him, and I do think he's actually somewhat aware of it, that's why he doesn't consider himself a hero. It's not just because he engages in punitive actions unbecoming of a hero, but also because he doesn't really save anybody. Does he even want to?
That's not just a rhetorical question too. While he's kept a poker face so far, and seems to tell himself Theodora is just a tool/plaything/convenient revenge scenario generator, I wonder if something irreversible really did happen to her, would he crack? That could be an interesting development.
