couldn't agreed more on that statement Sir (。・∀・)ノ゙oh that a satisfying end to the bitch
In my opinion it is explained she removes inhibition on their immoral actions. Meaning the things they do are still by their own will, just without the conscience that holds them back. That does not mean that she is controlling them to do those actions but that when they think about it, key word being think meaning they wanted to do it, they just don't think twicePeak
Edit: actually, I changed my mind. The mind control thing pretty much devalues his whole revenge thing and just turns him into an asshole. If they were pretty muched forced to do these things due to the brainwashing, how are they exactly at fault here? This manga was never good to begin with, but now it is just a 2/10, simply put. Lame. Only the revenge on the priestess and I supposed in the gods -- it seems that this is the direction where the plot is going -- makes sense.
How is removing the part that can say no and hyper-charging a specific desire any different from Mind-Control. It's the same thing but with extra steps. In my opinion it is explained she removes inhibition on their immoral actions. It's very different. The fact that removing inhibition turns you into a serial killer/rapist/child murderer means you were still a bad person, you just didn't act on it.How is removing the part that can say no and hyper-charging a specific desire any different from Mind-Control. And then you end up in hell. Like literal eternal torment.
I don't know. It feels like it cheapens the revenge part by removing their autonomy. But this is not really acknowledged by the story so it doesn't even become a tragedy.
