I don’t think Raoul is lying about how he MIGHT forgive her someday. Firstly, he isn’t promising not to punish her in his hell; she’ll still have to suffer because of his grudge. Secondly, the gods actively corrupted the people of this world, so perhaps in Raoul’s view, the people aren’t 100% guilty. More like 99.99% guilty, maybe?

Lol no Victoria was evil hearted to begin with. Remember Raoul literally said that Victoria was always that way. It’s just that the goddess amplified her desires and used the saintness to do it. Why do you treat "amplifying desires to the point that it goes over your restraint" like it's not that big of a deal?

Try to starve a person for a week or two, and then watch him going apeshit over a piece of meat, like a beast, maybe even trying to rip apart anyone who stands in the way of that. Is it also because that poor starving man is "sinful", "always was that way", and "totally deserved that"? That so-called "amplifying desires" is basically a brainwashing, overwriting the personality. Yes, she wasn't a purest angel, but she wasn't THAT. Originally, she would maybe try arrange to marry him as political "reward" for a hero saving the kingdom, and even believe that it's a win-win for both of them.
