Nice way to defeat the boss without making MC OP, you combine MCs strongest ability (his control of magic) with Lucy strongest abilty (Her big fire power).
And props for the author to make Jean (a man who's not MC in a isekai/harem story) be competent as tank and also deliver the finishing blow. He and Emily redeemed themselves in this chapter.
