Didn't realize that the remake was gonna be this soon! hopefully it's better than last time and actually gets far enough to get to the really good parts!
I was looking forward to her fight scenes and crossdressing scenes, also wanted to see her interactions with her tang family, old gang, and Grandpa~ also some of my favorite parts from after they start acting all lovey-dovey and stuff lol
Though there's already tiny things that I don't really like, for example, ning xi's hair being a lighter color/blonde, it's only the prologue and depending on how they adapt it, any bad parts can be overlooked so I'm looking forward to it~

Edit: nevermind lol I checked out the raws and
they changed a good amount more than I thought they would... Wasn't able to read anything so maybe the story is still good? But might have to see it as it's own story instead of an adaption, which is unfortunate :c at least the google-translated comments were funny lol

So, a little tip for anyone who read the webnovel and is gonna read this because of it: maybe don't?
if you're able to disconnect this from the webnovel and just feel like reading it anyways like I plan to, just go ahead and do that.

But if you're looking for a loyal adaption or feel like you'll get frustrated from seeing some big changes, then you might just want to skip this and pretend it doesn't exist, because as I said in the first part of this edit, they change a lot around very early on... like instead of ning xi being locked in a warehouse with little treasure, she just randomly sees a car speeding by and decided to chase it down and finds little treasure in the trunk with a bomb strapped around him that she then disarms... There's other ridiculous scenes too that would be too much to describe so I won't lol

Also, might be a nitpicky part, but this ning xi dresses too girly? Obviously I don't have anything against girly fashion, but the webnovel always seemed to describe her as someone liking casual/comfortable clothes, especially in the beginning and the stuff they draw her in look more like things she'd wear later on in the story, if that? And like, they even took out the motorcycle part...

So, what I've been saying is pretty much that they really changed things up and changed enough of the little things to where even with the same plot, it's feels like an entirely different series, so that's how I plan to see it as and how I'm going to read it as from this point forward.

Is it so bad though to just want a good adaption ಥ_ಥ I might just re-read the webnovel to make myself feel better now lol sorry to be the bearer of bad news though...

To anyone who didn't read the webnovel and just wanted to check out this comic: you can just ignore this and have a nice day~

This is a remake manhua. Maybe the production team decide to remake considering the completed novel.

As I one of the completed novel reader, I must say... The novel has great story! Please read it by official source! It has many cool characters and hilarious scene! Its too good to be categorized as shoujo manga!(manhua for girl, usually)

Read it!

So I just started reading this with the prologue and found it to be super different from the novel??? Now I know it's 'cause it's a remake. Maaaaaaan I really loved the original novel, with something that good they really shouldn't change anything because the fanbase will disapprove. Guess I'm not gonna read this I'm gonna get really pissed off if she turns out to not be as badass as she was in the novel so I'm just not taking the chance because from what I see she already seems kinda ditzy, flowery and naive so no way am I gonna spoil my perception of the original story with that.
