Damn that's a reveal, it seems like Julius is something of a vigilante who's main purpose is to kill her and stop the production while the immortals uses Elena as the source of holy silver, what a torture.
That explains chapter 1 entirely, Mc getting amplified when she touched him and the chapter where the holy silver changed form.
It may as well be concluded that the canes that undertakers use are made out of holy silver which is made out of Elena's body...
