I really like how the artist uses color in these otherwise black & white scenes. It really makes things stand out, and it does a really good job of making the dead herbs feel unnatural & dangerous here.

Also, the bunnies have only ever exhibited healing magic around Moco? It sort of feels like she might be the one doing the magic, with the rabbits just acting as familiars / a mana source.

Oh author, you hit us from the front so we don’t realize the hit that’s coming from the back. :meguuusad:

Thanks for the tl~
Small note
Lucola's line on page 10 "it might be best to tell someone what happened" and the line after should be:

"Maybe it would be best to try to borrow some from someone"
[誰かにわけてもらったほうがいいかもしれないわ]
"They're less effective if they aren't freshly picked, but..."
[摘みたてじゃないと効果は下がるけど...]

I know it isn't the fault of the author or the scanslators, but man I really hate those vapid useless comments the editorial staff adds on the first and last pages of chapters (of nost magazine series, not just this one) to feel like they're doing anything useful. "Are the two in danger...!?" Well no shit, Sherlock. Okay, random rant over!

It does seem like Moco has healing magic, I wonder if she's related to the previous healer Lucola mentioned :thonk:

Inb4 her mother was the healer and Makia's unrequited love and she's the splitting image of her mom which is why Makia knows so much about Mococo and tries her best to take care of Mococo
