This story involves active betrayal by Airi-san both of her sister Himari-san and of Asagiri-san. Himari-san has had her personal identity stolen, and Asagiri-san is being led into intimacy of various sorts with a girl very different from whom she has been led to believe.

This story has been painful to read, and no edification seems to be forthcoming. I don't even expect justice.

@Oeconomist It's not just Airi. Every single character is shallow as fuck, both in terms of romantic interest and personal complexity. It's pretty obvious that none of the girls know almost anything about their purported love interests. The plot is garbage all around and the root of the problem reflects that, as it didn't make an ounce of sense. Airi wanted to "protect" a love that she knew would never come to fruition. Ignoring the fact that this is a baseless pursuit by any and all measures, her decision not to tell her sister about the confession likely has no bearing on protecting it (as she would probably agree to let Asagiri down easy). The only alternative would be if Airi was planning to go all the way with this facade from the start, which is very obviously the exact opposite of "protecting" Asagiri's love. The mix-up with the emails also could've been solved a dozen different ways, all of them trivial. The whole thing is embarrassingly awful.

I acknowledge the truth of what you've said. Most of that comes down to the story being quite stupid. You could reasonably assert that the lack of ethical bearings is one more artefact of the stupidity, but it's the worst result, and there have been stupid stories that at least didn't involve one character getting intimacy from another by misrepresentation.

I mean... Just look at that crazy expression when Asagiri tells her that she would do anything for her...

I don't have any idea of where this is going, but I think that not because the art style it's cutesy the treatment it's gonna be as light hearted. The hints for a dark ending are there, and this story will be better if it goes in that direction.
