Pattern recognition, and many past wounds from former axed stories mostly.

(I want to be wrong so damn much)
People would be less anxious if they used their brains for a moment instead of buying into their immediate emotional reactions.

This series has been getting continual reprints on physical releases, did well in the Next Manga awards, and just got licensed internationally. How does any of that square with the theory that an axe is incoming?

I'm not debating you if that is what you're expecting.

I am applauding you, hugs and kisses and all. I want with all my heart for you to be right.

Nothing good ever comes out of me being right. (glares at medical diagnosis)

Yes, and Shunpei-kun, from the beginning, always add "-chan" to An name.
Interesting. I always thought they don't add honorifics when calling each other because they are (were?) so casual to each other. With honorifics I feel like there's a bit of a distance between them, which I think add a bit more to their awkward relationship especially at the start of the manga.

I feel like having An calling Shunpei with honorifics is not a good call, although she probably has been calling him like that since Chapter 1. I'm just more used to seeing An saying his name directly.

We know how much of a difference honorifics make in Japanese and re-adding them now messes with that sense of familiarity.
