True I guess, and I was also thinking of actual years passed and not years of being in same class.
Aka, they are on their 10th grade together now, but are likely not much past 9 full years in time based on the context.
Due to this difference I was thinking they had 3 years before elementary, starting at around age of 4, which felt pretty young to me

That’s funny… Preschool starts at age 3 in my country, so nothing felt odd in any way to me.

Ah yeah, I see why I got attracted to this manga, the story that shows a whole group of classmate being in harmony and united because they've been together for like 10 years. It reminded me to my own class, I've been with them for like 12 years from pre-school because I didn't want to change school, though we all eventually separated once we got to high school because that school we were at was only up to junior high and just like that I lost contact with most of them, this manga gave me that sense of nostalgia when things were still easy and we as a classmate were very united and close, damn I miss them.
