I don't think it is off-topic for this series to talk about appreciating interesting architecture. It's a cool building for sure. I've certainly not seen something like it.I'm about three chapters too late (ideally I would have posted this under Ch. 4, but I only discovered this manga with Ch. 5), but I want to share with you guys this building I stumbled upon. It's this massive (relatively of course, but 13 stories is not small in my eyes) brutalist soviet apartment block that stands on concrete legs almost four stories above ground. Just look at a car on the road there for scale. It's massive, it's dominating, it screams "soviet" and it towers above you. That bit from Ch. 4 where they show that old building covered in AC units, that's when I knew this manga had me. Never has a title managed to snipe so precisely into an experience so niche like being overwhelmed just by stumbling upon an impressive old building.

Sorry for kind of veering off chapter-relevant discussion, I just had to share this even if late.
please more discussions like this tbh!! i think it also touches well on how much fun it can be to notice the small design choices around you. it’s interesting to imagine the processes and people behind the things you encounter every day. That bit from Ch. 4 where they show that old building covered in AC units, that's when I knew this manga had me. The masses yearn for copy+paste slop it seemsI find it weird how manga like these fail to catch any attention while those crappy ass, same ol' school beauty x loner manga get bombarded with comments even if none of them seem to be enjoying it.
