What's up with this author coming up with great main couples and funny stories only for them to get axed?

Damn, and another Onio manga ends with the axe. I love this guy's work so it's sad to see them all end so abruptly.

I can't believe one author can have so many manga being axed like this.
Maybe Japan just doesn't like manga with actual story anymore?

Don't understand why people find it surprising that this got axed when the MC is the type who will never man up and tell the girl that he likes her resulting in zero romantic progress between the main couple. Really, this shouldn't even have a romance tag since there isn't any to be found.

I like how futari no jikan became san'nin no jikan. The blonde chick is such a good wingwoman!
I wouldn't mind this turning into a three-way relationship, they work well together.

But of course, ax-kun won't allow that to happen!

@FredFriendly You must not read much manga if you think that stories like that don't last for hundreds of chapters in Japan

@stilgar Who told you that I think that stories like that don't last for hundreds of chapters in Japan? Or are you just assuming that on your own? Regardless, there are plenty of series that end up on the chopping block because the romance goes nowhere, even though, for some ridiculously Japanese reasoning, others, that also are stuck with dense, moronic and/or super indecisive MCs go on and on and on and on...

@FredFriendly I can't tell if you're just trolling or you're serious but you're in no position to act this high and mighty. Your exact words is that it should have been expected that this manga would be axed due to it having a cuck MC, so his comment saying that there are tons of mangas with those types of MC's that go on forever is valid and completely negates your point.

If you would've responded with something about how this manga focuses solely on relationships while other mangas with similar characters have other interesting aspects forwarding the plot, your point would've been made clear. But you didn't, so you're wrong :)

@MrGoose Nobody who has responded to my comments here has said anything that negates what I said as invalid, including you. The fact of the matter is that many romance series get axed because the romance goes nowhere, coincidentally this same author's previous series, Yuki to Sumi. Because I did not respond in a fashion that meets your own personal approval does not mean that what I said was wrong.

As for: "Your exact words is that it should have been expected that this manga would be axed due to it having a cuck MC," you really shouldn't make up quotes as if you can actually read someone else's mind (plus that's really horrible English grammar). Not once, ever, in these comments sections have I ever called an MC (or anyone else) a "cuck," or applied any derivative of that word to any character. You will note that, unlike your statement, I have actually quoted something you said.

@FredFriendly, I didn't assume anything. The way you wrote your comment sounds like you think what he assumed. Regardless of what you think or how you wanted it to sound to others when you wrote your comment, the thing is it sounds like mentioned before.
I'm not here to invalidate anything you or anyone else wrote nor correct anyone. I'm here to point out that the way you wrote the 1st comment, it sounds like it sounds.
