most of the backgrounds are filtered photographs which helps cut down on drawing time, it's why you'll see that fuzzy white outline around things and characters sometimes. I personally don't mind it, rather that than ai trash.

also this whole manga is basically pinups of food, camping gear, and people with a loose story holding it together and sometimes that's all you need. easy on the eyes and the drama but hard on the stomach

Pretty much. It’s like how Yuru Camp survives - sometimes you just want to detach yourself from the ills of life and enjoy comfy camping with characters who are ripped and/or stacked
