Yeah, this isn't confirmation of them dating nor an answer for Sakurako's question about their romance. Heck, Kasumi avoided answering Hino about the date rather than claiming to be involved with someone at the beginning of the chapter. There have been multiple times in the series where Kasumi uses Sakurako to repel people trying to hit on her, whether that was describing her in vague ways or acting suggestively like in this chapter toward the end. A clear or vague relationship is fine, but just trying to create assumptions after the last few chapters is actually frustrating.
