i know it's a cliche to 'cut your hair after a heartbreak' but it must be annoying if you have nosy friends if you just get a haircut for normal reasons, or mess up and have it be too short, but i can imagine some schools being 'uptight 'about hair not being allowed to grow too long or so (if not some teen being passive aggressive and changing a hairstyle completely or so if it was mocked for some reason or if other ppl wouldn't stop playing with it)

i like her tomboyish look lol although it'd still be convenient for the salon worker to be told a specific length b/c i can totally imagine someone asking 'short' but then being disappointed
