the thing is Shiori isnt giving up either. Shiori was the one who's stepped up the most for him. if you're not willing to go as far to say that you like Jirou then maybe it aint meant to be. and i love Akari but these are facts. either step up or back down.

Yeah good for Shiori confessing, but she kind of dropped the ball and didn't do much after that. The fact that Jirou struggled this much to end living with Akari kind of showed me Shiori was doomed. I would say Akari shows her love more rather than saying it and vice versa for Shiori who will say she loves him and only does one or two things to show her love. That's how I read it, but I could be wrong

i see what u mean. but she knows how dense this dude is lol, she mentions that alot lol. only precise words will get through this dude's delusion of "why me?, why would she ever like a guy like me? im not her type, im a loser, blah blah" know what i mean? and sometimes actions like kissing is one way to get someone's attention and realization but not always. acts of service only works when you've been together for a number of years. youve probably seen as much anime as i have and every shoujo or romcom or whatever, every confession always ends with a strong proclamation like sukidesu! or Suki! or be my gf/bf! with a bow of desperation.
