You gotta at least stand up for yourself.. although I suspect that's where her character development is going to come in. With her being more confident and bold.. or that's what I would do.

Man I know this abused worker trope is used all the time in manga settings but tbh I don't blame them for using it all the time since it happens daily to a lot of young workers in Japan. It's not like in the US or elsewhere you have the ability to take legal action and not get silenced or fight back against a company that has taken advantage of you and such, sure there's still bullying sometimes in some companies but man will people out them so fast or at least quit. Work culture and social culture in Japan is really different, keeping all of their problems to themselves. Though, I have no idea about the laws on protecting workers in Japan. The company's gonna tank when they realize she ain't coming back.
