There's also "Master" at the café that Gabriel works at part time and Satanichia's father appeared in a couple more chapters last year so he counts as a recurring male character.
Oh true, I kinda forgot about them since it's been a whole we haven't seen them. Though they're not really part of the main cast either way.

On another note, I'm surprised (in a positive way) that there are a lot of people who weren't fooled! :win:

Come on... Who would belive a male character can exist in a manga full of cute girls? 🤣
This is my biggest problem with the genre, finding an interasting guy to cosplay in a slice of life manga/anime is like finding a diamond.

Shippers. Because they are always afraid that "girls will not be lesbians if there is a man around", even if it is the purest CGDCT. I've seen people drop even the literal yuri because one of the very side characters was dating a man.

And here I was thinking that Ukami decided to slowly get some male friends into the circle, but, as it seems, yuri lobbyists took over.
This is the literal CGDCT, which has been all-female for years. Ship them or not, it is extremely doubtful that there will be significant male characters here.

In this chapter Ukami made it perfectly clear that the possibility of male characters appearance in the main cast is infinitely small or even non-existent (one of the points of my first message), so, being honest, I don't quite understand the point of your message to me. If it's to show off your superiority in yuri and CGDCT reading expertise, sure, you must be an expert while I'm not. I read this manga not for that.

My message was quite simple - no "yuri lobbyists" or alleged intentions of the author played a role here, since this work has always been an all-female CGDCT and there was simply no possibility of significant male characters appearing here. The erroneous but common opinion that such works do not include male characters due to yuri is a separate conversation, but in this case there could not have been male characters initially.

So the real reason to answer to my half-joking message that's almost 6 months old was to fight a common 'conspiracy' theory statement while asserting dominance with your yuri and CGDCT reading expertise. OK, thanks for your explanation.
The problem is that I can't see your point as anything viable, because your expertise means nothing to me (and even less, because of your hostile approach) and isn't verifiable (do you really have the info directly from Ukami's brain about what exactly he wanted to achieve with Michael's arrival?), while I could see yuri fans' rage in the comment section of the previous chapter (+ the joking (or not) pic made by the translator) and extrapolate such a reaction to the Japanese fanbase and their possible pressure on the author to ascertain Michael's gender (it could've been that he wanted to hold off the reveal for later, but gave up early). Of course, you can say that such people're not yuri fans or, even better, that they can't even exist. And I should believe it just because YOU say so, shouldn't I?
So, as I don't want to waste any more of my time on a dispute with an arrogant and disrespectful yuri guru, I'm just gonna block you:meguusmug:
Have a nice trolling of someone else willing to be trolled. Bye.

You are overthinking and being trolled only by yourself. Offended as "arrogance and disrespect" at the banal answer that male characters would corny contradict the format of this work. This manga is and always has been all-female CGDCT. To understand this, you do not need to read the author's mind or be some kind of genre expert, not to mention a "yuri expert". Anyone who has a basic knowledge of such a manga or anime will understand that there will be no male characters (not to mention the original Japanese fans of such works). However, if you continue to obsess over yuri, convincing yourself that there are no male characters in such works precisely because of yuri and that the author could unironically make a character a woman because of the yuri lobby (are these guys in the same room with us now?), even more so, calling me yuri guru (which is a particularly great joke), further conversation is really useless. I don’t see the point in communicating with a person who reacts so painfully to a simple indication of the foundations of the genre.

P.S. Yeah, mangakas are aware and very worried about shippers' mood on mangadex, that's how it works lol.
