honestly i just think the prince (or someone of similar royal status) most likely wanted demons to be killed and erased because of their fearsome powers. probably spread propaganda about the demons even if they're not at all like that, and they don't wanna be dethroned in a single flick of hand from a demon (much less a girl). but thats just my hunch i'unno anything.

Then you remember that she is pretty high up on the yandere scale and would be 100% OK with murdering every single one besides herself and the hero. She is a legitimate threat, she just choses to be a goof instead.

sure sure sure but the thing is this girl is prolly older than hero (assuming we're going by the typical demon years) and if she hasnt really rampaged before the hero came then its like "why is the demon king on a hit list?" if that makes sense lmfao
