i think he is looking after her or trying to contact her again, but i dont look at raws so im not sure about that... i hope she appears again tho
the way their arc ended, it seemed like subaru
only continued streaming because of hina—or rather, what hina represents (fans who love "him" 'even if he's trash and would follow him to the very end'), and majority of his apprehension with the irl meet seems to be a mix of trauma from the assault and sort of... ingrained fear from hina's words ("the subaru that hina loves is subaru the streamer" + her statements that he should just stay in the screen—that it went wrong
as soon as subaru 'tried escaping the screen'). hina's verbal abuse fucked him up really badly in the sense that he's become reliant/dependent on hina's status as his fan (see: chapter 18, pg. 2, where he's called "scum" by a stream comment and he very specifically focuses on hina's reply "he's not scum" as validation) and so, i don't think his goal is to
try and contact her again as it is to stream "subaru" as much as possible, as if nothing happened.
however, even if i doubt kuyuru is actively seeking her out to meet again (as hooking up with fans is something they already established subaru wouldn't do), they still likely would meet at the event as it is technically participated in by subaru. the mangaka is also teasing them a lot so it's very unlikely we wouldnt get a scene of them together.
i forgot to mention but i heavily ship them because of the general fuckery. im very invested in how worse it gets. i cannot imagine any future for these two that doesn't end in murder or jail or a sanatorium, but goddamn their heat of the moment dynamic is
great
as for feelings, there's no question that subaru finds hina hot/cute. he wanted to bang her (and succeeded in doing so, to his detriment) for a reason. when it comes to his claims that he loves her or loves his fans though? im a bit more skeptical. it seems to me that he's become rather codependent with her, and i'm fairly certain if hina stops stanning him, that would push him over the edge. i'd love to see that actually. regardless, i don't think his feelings are a conventional like, and it would be a disservice to the manga's themes to put it that way. however, there's still likely to be a conclusion to their story, as the mangaka could have gone the route of disbanding cosmo so that we won't see subaru again after his arc has ended, yet here we are
