NOERDE! Superb sacrifice. Your boss is leaving you behind as a pawn? Oh yeah, own it and do your job! None of the typical "oh no, I trusted you, how could you" stuff. That is a strong conviction. Even if you're being used, you chose your side, you chose who to follow and it'd be more humiliating for you to jump the ship, than to go down with it. It's respectable, even though surely controversial.
Zodyl is really menacing. Like he's really thrown his humanity away, his heart specifically, only leaving his brain to drive all the actions he takes. Like an alien learning a bit about those inferior, soft apes covering the Earth. And yet he STILL didn't show anything combat-wise. I respect that, although it IS a loan on his part.
A loan of our belief in him as a villain, which he's gotta pay eventually. And since he didn't this arc, the interest will be higher and people will demand better feats from him. I hope he delivers though! I want to remember him long after he's eventually defeated.
