Wow, what a great first chapter! Nothing insane story-wise, but the amount of soul put into this artstyle, how crazy and unhinge the characters and panelling can look, little breadcrumbs of wider worldbuilding - me gusta!

1. Am I the only one who liked that the potential love interest (potential, yes - they're literally fkn kids, don't hang onto this this hard) did NOT believe in him? We should keep in mind, that they ARE kids, that he was found with the murder weapon and Legto's blood on his hands and that in his "final moments" he cursed all of them, swearing to kill them. Even IF he was talking only to the murderer, nobody could've known that.
There might also be more - we don't know how much propaganda is up there and who influences her, because random street kids do NOT. Maybe her mom though? Might be more factors in there too.

2. Murder of Legto - very deliberately and obviously (unless it's only for the effect, but I put a bit of my stocks on the author) put together as a message and with purpose. I mean, they literally killed him in his house, left him still breathing for a bit, left the murder weapon in his chest. It seems to be a set-up. Not necessarily to get Rudo, cuz why - more like to whatever other purpose the killer (or killer's faction) has. I can see 2 options, but even now, I think only one is probable:

A) It was a killing done due to whatever Legto was entangled in and leaving a weapon was supposed to be a message or warning to other slum inhabitants or to whoever was close to Legto. If that's the case, Rudo getting there and being blamed for the murder is a collateral, not even intended. Cool, because it's more "tough world" stuff, but...
B) It was a cover-up. Rudo run into that killer on the street and they dropped a book of some kind. Seemed important, if we saw it for a few panels. Maybe the book was the cause of Legto's death, but to keep anybody from finding it out, they already planned on framing Rudo. Also - not because Rudo is important, but because the book business needs to be kept a secret. THAT'S the option I'm going with for now.

3. The Abyss being a literal skyfall from who knows how high, above the clouds to an actual enormous dumpsite - me gusta :3 And, going by this manga's main motive (so far), Rudo might become quite rich and powerful there, with all that trash. He can MacGyver this shit. Like, hard! And it's also an obvious setup to meet his father along the way, because I doubt he's dead.

4. Is the city on some artificial sky island? Is it like Columbia in Bioshock Infinite? Or maybe it's some kind of post-apo and the Abyss is whatever's left of some ancient sea or ocean - a literal seafloor filled with trash? Maybe humans had to take into the sky to escape whatever monsters or evil dwells down there or maybe THEY made that evil, by throwing all manner of matter, chemicals and stuff into the Abyss?

5. WHAT THE F*CK was that enormous figure or construction seen when Rudo was falling? Not the city, as it was too far. Still - was WAY above the clouds. I think it's important, so I screenshoted it for the future xD
