Aaaaaand now it's all clear, great! Whole fight is a little bit better, when I understand how Rudo's current Jinki works. This chapter also does wonders for Nijik, cuz:
1. He's getting Jabber back for that lose.
2. It establishes that he got hit once from behind and then the fight was basically over. It does not humiliate Nijik by being him just inferior to first bigger enemy, especially after we learn that he's a regular hard-working guy and that Engine believes in his skills.
What I wonder though - the amulet was Griss'. Does Rudo just give it back to him now? If so, does some amount of power stay in it? Does it even work, if somebody else tries to use the item now? Will Griss just become a Giver now or not in the slightest? If he does, that'd be OP - Rudo could just easily make a lot of new Givers that way.
