Okay, this is THE BEST chapter of the series so far. To me, at least. No action at all and it's going to be memorable AF.
1. I think Rudo makes a lot of valid points there. I like him leaning more towards survival and protection, instead of keeping up with "rules of peace". Yeah, you shouldn't beat Amo for being mean to you, but if she made you and few others relive their traumas, nearly killing 5-6 people in the process and turning companions against each other - killing her wouldn't be unheard of.
2. At the same time, I love Enjin's approach. He doesn't dispute nor try to fight Rudo's stance with everyone around. With everyone around, he only offers another perspective - it IS smarter to get the info out of her, even if you want to take revenge on her.
3. That dialogue between Enjin and Rudo was everything to me. Makes me hope for some great relationships between the Cleaners. Enjin might really be this young adult role model many teenagers need while growing up. And he still wasn't hostile, wasn't trying to force anything upon Rudo, just let him talk, replied with his own experiences, it was therapeutic and I love it.
4. I wonder if we're going to see Rudo struggle in the future. With his darker side, I mean, this aggressive, confrontational, angry side of a streetkid. I certainly hope so. I don't want him to just immediately win against his weaknesses after this warm conversation with Enjin.
5. I forgot the last time - Amo's Watchman Series boots came from this other Skyperson she's met in the Forbidden Zone. Either they died or maybe they gave the girl boots, since she didn't have any or something? That's who she's calling her angel! And it's not the Leader, of course. My curiosity increases - even in mostly developmental, interactions-based chapter we're always getting a tiny breadcrump of lore <3
