DAMN! That was one of the pages I got spoiled on, unfortunately, but it's not a big deal - no amount of spoilers matter, it's a CONTEXT that make a scene stand out, not a random panel. That being said:
1. I feel for Zanka a lot. The sense of inferiority had to be tragic, even when he kept managing to get ahead of everyone with more hard work. Then again, at some point you tend to meet somebody who works as hard as you, but also has aptitude. And it can be crushing, like it was for my boy. ESPECIALLY due to all the months (years?) he kept pretending to be genius. There's a lot of stacked trauma, you know? Blows up harder that way.
2. He's still just hallucinating. In no shape to fight - in fact, I'm kinda glad he didn't just BS his way to victory. He was clearly inferior, compared to Jabber and even still he did what he could. I just hope he can bounce back. Maybe go back to his roots, to his old masters or straight up ask somebody from among the Cleaners to help him get better.
3. If Enjin was an actual monk, I'm way more interested in his character now. How old is he? Mid to late twenties? I wonder what kind of monk he was, what kind of philosophy he adapted or couldn't adapt and drifted away from this calling. And it seems like Riyo was with him for a long time. That's her, right? Was she also a monk?
4. It's interesting, storytelling-wise, to just straight up go against the "lesson" or "promise" Enjin gave to Zanka... but we might eat a cake AND have a cake at the same time yet. What if Zanka IS going to one day actually have his revenge against Jabber and this time beats him fair and square? The buildup WILL have it's payoff, just not this early, huh?
