WAIT! Was I right again? Is this enormous beast, this whole fight just an experiment or diversion for Zodyl? Is he just testing the barrier instead of going through with the attack on Heavens? If so, what does it mean for the future? An even bigger beast, an ever stronger Jinki used to reinforce it? Is this beast still going to face the barrier and get through it?
YO, IMAGINE! What if Zodyl's plan also consists of having all our Cleaners get noticed by whatever forces and defenses lie in wait for them above? Like, a way for Sphereites to consider this ordeal as an act of aggression from the Pit? A way to force an open conflict between above and below? Open conflict, due to which the whole Pit is going to see the need to destroy Heavens? If they would, it's the same as seeing eye to eye with Zodyl. He'd be turning, like, half of the population, into his soldiers and followers!
I'm rambling, it's probably not that deep and our guys will just destroy the core, before the beast even engages the barrier. Still, I like the thought of Zodyl planning this far ahead. Actually, him going so hard just to sell his experiment is a bit commendable, though absolutely insane.
It also seems like they're leaving both Fu and Noerde here to die, which is quite sad, but not too weird. Still would've preferred Noerde to stick around, instead of going full berserk on everyone.
