pretty sure she isn't trusting her. she's just playing her cards close to her chest and not pursuing a direct confrontation at this time, especially because right now her wife is operating incognito and she doesn't want to blow that for her.Trusting the person who was just before outed as biggest and greediest trading company and over the conversation has been given more information from frost, that she is in fact in cooperation with a neighbouring noble halting all restoration 😐
Would be easier to believe, if the chapter didn't use that overly silly and exaggerated approach 🥲pretty sure she isn't trusting her. she's just playing her cards close to her chest and not pursuing a direct confrontation at this time, especially because right now her wife is operating incognito and she doesn't want to blow that for her.
"I want to see big strong women fighting"
It's such a weird thing to do when there are indeed fantasy series that can be called native isekai, when it's a traditional isekai but the Mc is a native of that world. Ringer is a solid example. It reminds me of some people (not sure if they're actually serious or just trolling considering so many stupid people nowadays) calling fantasy genre, "Native Isekai".
This is a comedy, and while it's not played up a whole lot this kind of over the top approach has been used before - the first few chapters were full of it (go back and re-read them, maybe have a bit of a laugh at the sequence where Clarice is contemplating all the ways she could get her head chopped off).Would be easier to believe, if the chapter didn't use that overly silly and exaggerated approach 🥲
