@Kampfarsch Given that she technically was dead for at least half the first story, some decay can be expected to have set in? And zombie stories can rarely make sense. XD

Not gonna lie, seeing her in a wheelchair permanently is a little rough. Still, this chapter was satisfying and it scratched the itch left by the ending of the original story.

MY GIRL KURUMI
hands off kid she's mine
I do like the ol doc too

it's really quite sad, seeing how much she loved running and now she's permanently in a wheelchair, but she's still fighting.

Kurumi... I was scared through the whole original story she was going to die. She was always my favorite character. She may have not escaped without considerable losses, but it's good she's alive.

What a strange feeling it must have been to have missed the moment the fate of the world was decided.
Except that of course, she is right.
It isn't over.
The world has made it, and she is still an important part of that world. Glad she has people to help her accept that.
She has always been the fighter of the group. She has survived quite literal hell on earth. She went on solo missions so many times, paving the way for the others. I hope in time she can find it in herself to make peace with the fact that for now, she is part of the ones who a path will be paved for.
And of course-
She is already back at it again.
Once again, she found the most challenging way available to her to directly help the people around her, by studying to become a doctor.
I think as long as there is a community for her to look after, Kurumi Ebisuzawa will never give in.
