... so Yuuri's (Rii-san) little was actually hit by a car not trapped in a school zombified. At least that makes sense why in Vol.6 the crosswalk reminds her of Ruu and felt responsible for her carelessness causing her sister's death. Similar to Yuki's condition, she later thought Ruu got lost and even went looking in another town for her with the excuse Ruu was chasing her hat. Wanting to forget about her sisters existence and death, Yuuri uses Yuki as a replacement sister only to be reminded, then visiting Namekawa Primary School where she pretends Ruu is still alive and well.
Just in case you want a preview (not full) of Chapter 77 (my translation maybe wrong, I don't actively study Japanese as I use to so I find it a bit hard to get it into English):

Yuki starts pretending Megune and the rest that were confirmed as dead are alive (they are aren't though). Taromaru is likely because of the anime. In the Manga he was the dog that Yuki found before Megune died.
Yuki picks up the fallen Randall soldier's communicator (radio?). It appears the Randal's soldiers have been annihilated or killed each other off. What was the point of them?
Yuki then climbs the stairs to the rooftop where Megune stays and sees Yuki off. Yuki is a little hesitant, but encouraged by Kurimi she moves forward and says: "thank you, goodbye..."
The strange thing about this scene is why is Kurumi part of the illusions with Megune and Ao-san? Did Kurumi die? or is it that both Kurumi and Miki are not going to make it, it's too late for them?
Yuki now on the roof starts the communicator (radio?) and connects with the Randall Protection agency. Yuki gives information on river water that it can be a specific medicine for Ω bacteria. She then tells them that they have experienced a painful parting so far and that they have come so far with their courage, saying, "I am here."
Unfortunately, it seems, with the corruption with Randall , the Randall Council will not come out for them now.
The communication is cut off due to a fault, but Yuki feels the result of being able to communicate the message is hope and responds upwards to the sky.
Rii-san is still alive on the helicopter. The university members are also alive and carry luggage on trucks to evacuate. It appears Rii-san attracted them with the gunshot. They are preparing for evacuation knowing no ones coming to save them and the place is going in flames.
